An ordinary oval doily with a lace edge easily and quickly turns into a charming summer bolero for a young fashionista.
You will need:
Oval lace doily in size: for size 116/122 - approx. 70 x 45 cm, for size 128/134 - approx. 75 x 50 cm; finished oblique inlay 0.70 m wide 2 cm.
Sewing:
Fold the napkin across in half with the wrong side inward, chop off the napkin edges. At a distance of 14-15 cm from the bend and approx. 12 cm from the top edge, mark a vertical slot for armholes with a length of 14-15 cm. On a double folded napkin, make a slot for marking, lay the napkin again.
Fold the oblique collar in half and iron, then cut the collar into 2 equal parts. Pin each section of the oblique inline to the edges of the cut so that the section of the armhole lies between the halves of the oblique in width of approx. 3 mm, with the ends of the slot laid out in straight lines. Tighten one end of the tape and lay it on the other end of the tape to a width of approx. 1 cm.
