Anna assumed that she would spend her life in design and marketing, but the desire to create things was stronger. Now she sews, including - from the fabrics she invented, and keeps a blog about it.

Our heroine's name is Anna. Today - the author of a blog and books on sewing, the creator of original models, patterns and even fabrics of her own design, Anna says that she loves to sew and create in general. “Mom taught me to sew in childhood, and I can’t say that then it was my favorite pastime,” Anna recalls. “But I remember for sure: I liked the opportunity to create something on my own in this matter.” After receiving a bachelor of arts degree, Anna assumed that she would spend her life working in graphic design and marketing. For several years, everything went on until the enthusiasm for the process of creating tangible things independently overpowered: in 2009, Anna began to maintain her blog, and a year later the first patterns created by her independently appeared. Since then, Anna has released a book with master classes (clothing, accessories), continues to come up with models and design patterns (first of all, various bags and backpacks, as well as clothes, textiles and home decor), and last year on her the sketches released a collection of fabrics.

Anna is developing models and patterns of fairly simple and practical, but interesting things, plus she sews on finished patterns. Most of her works are a variety of accessories, bags, handbags, clutches, backpacks. By the way, many of them are sewn from fabrics designed by Anna herself: these are natural (cotton + linen) materials of calm colors with simple geometric or floral ornaments. Anna says that she was inspired by the walks in parks and forests and the study of archeology in college (some of the drawings really resemble elements of ancient writing). In second place among the photographs of Anna’s work is the clothes she sews for herself and her daughters. These things are also simple, functional laconic cut, made of natural fabrics of soothing colors. The same can be said about textile things for the home: patchwork quilts and blankets, organizers and baskets performed by Anna look more likely not catchy and colorful, but harmonious and balanced in the selection of colors.
