The signature style of Julia Dalakyan is a romantic and at the same time strict style, feminine silhouettes, spectacular fabrics, draperies, intricate textures, and “architectural” cut. According to the designer, the basis of her new fall-winter collection Covert story ("The Secret History") is "a portrait of a medieval girl made by a modern cubist."
Julia understands cubism as the ability to see mathematics in objects, geometric proportions and orderliness. She decided to apply this approach in her work. “Externally, the collection looks very restrained. However, considering the elements, you can notice a lot of interesting design decisions.
This is a covert story: only an attentive sophisticated viewer sees the secrets, and the collection looks accessible, modern, comfortable, "the designer explains. Julia considers the main colors of the season shades of blue - from ink to gray-blue - the color of wet asphalt, emerald green , pearl gray, and, of course, black. The skirt will be the most important part of the wardrobe this fall. ”A very fashionable length is 10–20 cm below the knee. At the same time, the skirt can be either very narrow or wide, with folds, with a fixed bottom line, "Julia advises.The designer also recommends paying attention to fabrics a la Chanel and various structured, shape-resistant materials: they will add texture and volume that are fashionable this season.
