We will need:

the cloth;
fabric mesh;
yarn for knitting;
wire.

Step 1

On the wrong side of the fabric we place a mesh fabric. In my case, these were future curtains :) in general, the fabric is harder, the better, more precisely, thinner and tougher.

We recall that somewhere there is a wire for the stamens of flowers ... which I will never do :) We also remember where the wire cutters are small and bend the edge, as in the photo (approximately the diameter of the loop is 3 mm). There should be a small gap between the turns, it will be screwed through the gap! yarn.

As long as you find needles for buti, you will go crazy, and even more so yarn :) therefore we do the adaptation ourselves :)

Step 3

We sew from the inside, we place the created device from the wire between the fabrics. Both edges of the wire should extend beyond the fabric at the beginning and end of the stitch. We sew indented 3 or 4 mm. Please note: the wire under the foot, it can be adjusted when sewing.

We make manipulations so that the yarn comes in as in the photo, we do not cut it from the ball. It turns out that 2 threads will stretch. Cut the yarn after pulling.

We are holding out.

Step 6

We repeat how many times we wish. From the front, it looks like this. The yarn should preferably be well compressed and unclenched :) I took what was found.

Because I thought it was too crowded ... I decided to pause between the lines of 1-2 mm, the gap is not filled with anything.

As a result, sewing with pauses looks more prominent. Can be done if in threads:

2 threads - pause - 2 threads - pause (as on the sample)

! odd amount ... pull out the extra thread :)

2 threads - pause -1 thread - pause - 2 threads

4 - 3 - 2 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 (dashes are pauses), respectively, the width between the lines will vary.

If we use threads for trapunto or buti and use cotton or cambric or silk, this will be buti. If the fabric is completely translucent, you can vary the color of the yarn, from dark to light, yarn with a stretch of color. etc.
