Old jeans are good in that they can be almost completely used for remaking, to create something new and interesting. From jeans pockets you can make a la brooch and decorate it with a plain pullover or skirt, white dress shirt or blouse.

For decor with denim pockets of a plain pullover or white blouse, you will need:

✽ Old jeans

✽ Safety pins of different sizes

✽ Scissors

✽ Spreader

✽ Needle

✽ Threads for sewing and stitching

Step 1

Open your pockets from old jeans.

Step 2

Cut pocket sections on an overlock or zigzag stitch.

Step 3

Delay the pockets (if the factory edge is not preserved) around the perimeter. Or, hand sew a seam allowance on the wrong side of the pocket.

Step 4

Place pockets on the pullover and shirt on the right or left side traditionally or turn it over.

Step 5

Use safety pins to fasten the jeans pocket on the product. First pin the pins along the edges of the pocket, then along its entire surface in a chaotic manner.

Tip

Use loops from old jeans as decorative mini epaulets, for example, on a pullover.Sew them along the shoulder seams by hand and additionally decorate with suitable buttons.
