Argan Oil- One of the most expensive and rare oils in the world, comparable in price to black caviar or oysters. Recently, it has been increasingly used in cosmetics, since it has many useful properties.
For many centuries, Berber women from Morocco have been using argan oil: it moisturizes the skin well, relieves irritation, heals cracks and burns, and helps get rid of scars and scars.
It is known that this unique oil is 80% composed of unsaturated fatty acids, rich in natural antioxidants - polyphenols and tocopherols (or vitamin E, the content of which argan oil is 3 times higher than olive oil). - The Argan tree (from the Latin Argania spinosa, or iron tree) is found only in the Kingdom of Morocco, exclusively in the western and central parts of the country, as well as the Atlas Mountains. The evergreen tree reaches a height of 15 meters and lives from 150 to 300 years.

- The meaty fruits of the argan tree are larger than olives, in the stone with a very hard, almost impenetrable shell - 2-3 nucleoli, which resemble almonds in shape. These fruits appear on the tree only once every two years!
Berber women collect fruits manually and dry them in the sun, then also manually remove them from the fibers and crack the fruit shell with stones. Using a special device resembling a mechanical meat grinder, oil is squeezed from the seeds, after which it is filtered through special paper. To get 1 liter of oil takes 100 kg of seeds from 6-7 trees and more than one day of work of women. The process is very time-consuming: to simply peel nuts with stones, you need an average of 12 hours!
