Decorative prints are now at the peak of interior fashion. They unexpectedly transform the house, fill it with color and personality.

Prints are drawings printed on fabric, paper, plaster, wood or any other surface. Ethnic, plant, realistic, abstract, animalistic, modern and ancient; on walls, furniture, upholstered furniture and curtains - the choice is incredibly rich and depends on personal taste and interior style.
On the wall
From landscapes to the entire wall to very small decorative stickers. Popular in the 80s wall murals are undergoing a new birth. Increasingly, one of the walls in the room is turned into a blooming garden or a view of the Tower Bridge.
3D wallpapers just seem fantastic. Special graphic means achieve a sense of movement and volume. Using stereo photography, you can not only visually expand the space of a small room, but even correct some of the shortcomings of its architecture.
Another decorative trick is an interior sticker. For example, a simple bed can acquire an expensive antique look if supplemented with a sticker that mimics the headboard in a classic style. The illusion will turn out so complete that guests do not immediately guess this little trick.
Photowall-paper with imitation of objects - a library, bookcases, a niche, an arch, a fireplace or a wall (stone, wooden, brick) - a fashionable way to give a highlight to the interior. Such a "wall" can be supplemented with real decor items in the appropriate style.
Decorative stickers look very nice. Large ones, for example, a blossoming branch of an apple tree stretching from a window into a room, or small ones, for example, a swarm of butterflies surrounding a sofa.
The trend is floral prints. Modern methods of decoration allow using them to create a unique design project. Prints of creepers, crawling from floor to wall, from wall to ceiling, look fascinating: the room will look like a rainforest. Stickers - birds of paradise will add exoticism. In a classic interior, floral motifs are best combined with plain wood paneling as well as decorative plaster. For the room in oriental style, select the print "Sakura"; in modern interiors, wallpaper with a large floral print, you can black and white, it is worth pasting only part of the wall. But it’s important not to overdo it with the diversity of decorative prints and stickers.
Preference is for classic colors: beige, black, brown, gray, white, blue and green. Or the colors of precious metals - gold, silver, bronze. But if you want bright color accents - why not take a chance? Only you need to think carefully. However, wall stickers, regardless of size, have an important advantage: if the experiment failed, it is easy to fix!
On furniture
Another way to create a unique interior is to print on furniture. Using this technique, you can achieve the logical completeness of the image of the room. For example, in the living room there is a set of wicker furniture and a wardrobe with a mirrored facade. In order to combine these disparate objects, it is enough to place an image imitating a wicker vine or rattan on the cabinet doors.
The bewitching beauty of fonts, modern and ancient, at the peak of decorative trends. In the interior design relevant letters, words, passages of texts. You can "enter" the initials of the owners into the interior or decorate the head of the bed with a romantic recognition written in beautiful handwriting. Order special stickers or write yourself acrylic on a stencil. Fashion designers suggest using "font layering", that is, repeatedly repeated word in different fonts. For example, emotionally charged words in all languages - “good morning” in the kitchen, “life is beautiful” in the living room, “smile” in the nursery. However, these can be favorite phrases from films, books, and even albeit obscure, but beautiful Chinese characters. Prints are especially appropriate in the nursery. Populate the room with heroes of fairy tales, cartoons, animals, pirates and princesses. As children’s interests develop and expand, stickers can be changed.
On the tile
Another fashionable decoration of our everyday life is photo printing on tiles. The picture can occupy the entire wall, and can be located on just a few tiles.Such tiles can be bought at the store or made to order: for this purpose, a drawing is applied to a regular tile, which is then specially treated to protect it from mechanical damage. Some foreign firms produce entire collections of ceramic tiles with text prints, for example, with excerpts from newspaper publications. And lovers of extraordinary solutions will have to taste photo printing on a tile of an image or phrase glowing in the dark. So, a table of caloric content of products that phosphoresces in the night darkness of the kitchen will turn out to be very useful.
On fabric
Printed drawings adorn a wide variety of textiles - curtains, sofa cushions, furniture covers. Prints on fabric wallpaper are very popular. It can be floral ornaments or zigzags, especially popular this year. On the fabric, you can apply a watercolor drawing, graffiti. Many designers create their own collections of such "paintings". If you could not find the curtains with the desired print, you can contact the printing house, which is engaged in printing on textiles, and get a fabric with a unique pattern!
