Just a couple of seams - and in your summer wardrobe there will be another novelty: knitted top bando, which will look beneficial on any figure.
Important: For sewing this top, take only knitwear that stretches evenly, ipopere, and also grind and process (sew) seams only with a narrow zigzag or a special stitch for elastic fabrics.
Tip: take measurements carefully and compare them with the measurements given in the Burda table.
Sizes 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44
Length 46 cm.
YOU WILL NEED Knitted fabric with 1.20 m elastane 150 cm wide for all sizes.
Recommended fabrics: only bio-elastic knitted fabrics.
CUT
The fabric part is cut out according to a paper pattern in the shape of a rectangle, which you yourself can make according to the sizes that are given in the instructions ("Cut").
The dimensions shown below include allowances of 1 cm wide.
The front and back are 76–80–84–88–92–96–96 cm wide and 118 cm long, 59 cm in finished form (of which 13 cm is the top cut of the upper cut).
SEWING
■ Fold the front and back in half along the front side inwards. Chop and cut sections 118 cm long with 1 cm wide allowances with a special elastic stitch or narrow zigzag stitch (= middle back seam). Iron seam allowances.
■ Fold the front and back up to half the length with the wrong side inwards, the fold lies at the bottom. Neat the top sections of the top together, unscrew them on the wrong side to a width of 13 cm and stitch them at a distance of 12 cm.
