The 32nd season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia has come to an end: over these days, several dozen designers presented their fall-winter / 2016-2017 collections to the public.

According to journalists, the next Fashion Week in Moscow was marked by import substitution: foreigners at the Moscow Fashion week are an infrequent phenomenon, but this time, with the exception of several Georgian and Belarusian designers, the participants were completely Russian.
At the Moscow podium, designers demonstrated their vision of the upcoming autumn-winter season and suggested new trends.

The week opened with a show of young designers - graduates of the Vyacheslav Zaitsev Fashion Laboratory, but, according to tradition, it was the collection of Zaitsev himself, the legend of Russian and Soviet fashion, who became the headliner of the Week. The collection with the talking name "Golden Age" is presented as a designer’s understanding of the harmony of the external and internal worlds of man, his soul and body. Gold, shiny fabrics, fur, complex geometric prints, unusual hats and accessories - all the images seemed to have come down from the pages of a book of fairy tales!

The young designer Ksenia Knyazeva is sure that not every woman is given the chance to be fatal, but nothing prevents her from becoming. Heavy makeup, retro hairstyles of the silent movie era, dense fabrics and the predominance of dark colors - such is the beauty recipe for any fashionista in the next fall-winter season.

3. Oriental motives

In this case, "East" in the broadest sense of the word! The silhouettes of the Alena Akhmadullina collection reflect the theme of an Asian military suit with its characteristic voluminous top of a straight or A-shaped cut.
