Cutting this part does not require a lot of fabric. But it happens that even such a small sleeve is difficult to fully place on the remaining shreds ...

In this case, during the cutting, you can sacrifice the hem of the mini-sleeve and perform, for example, a false hem or process an open cut with an oblique trim.

How to sew an oblique edging: 3 ways

But what if the cutting did not leave a single chance, or rather a centimeter, on the hem of the bottom of the mini-sleeve? Then it’s worth using a simple sewing trick as a treatment.

Step 1

Cut two strips of fabric 4 cm wide and slightly longer than the length of the cut along the bottom of the sleeve.

Since the processed cut is straight, the fringing strip can be cut along the oblique, and on the lobar, and across.

Step 2

Fold each strip in half along with the wrong side inward and iron.

Step 3

Unscrew the edges of the edging flat exactly in the middle again and press down.

Step 4

Insert the sleeve detail into the fringing part and pin it.

At the same time, the edges of the fringing strip should protrude beyond the details of the sleeve on both sides.

Step 5

Stitch fringing strips to the edge on the front side.

Step 6

Cut the protruding edges of the fringing strip in the shape of a sleeve.

For accuracy, use a paper pattern.

Step 7

Iron the details of the sleeve.

Now you can begin to screw the mini-gloves into the armhole.
