This simple apron looks elegant not only due to the color of the selected fabric, but also because of the wide long belt that can be tied with a bow in front at the waist.

A wide bow belt and lush folds are the real decorations of this simple but elegant apron. Thin cotton fabrics are suitable for him. Pattern is not needed!

Original apron with a do-it-yourself smell

Step 1

Wash, dry and iron your fabric. Fold a 150x110 segment in half and align the edges, trimming the edges and bumps.

Step 2

Open the fabric according to the pattern. Total should be: 1 piece 11x110 cm; 2 details 20x110 cm; 1 piece 56x110 cm.

Step 3

Detail 11x110 cm cut in half (see diagram). For each half, iron inside out 1 cm from the short ends.

Step 4

Turn the short edges of the part 56x110 cm twice by 0.6-0.7 cm, iron and stitch.

Step 5

Trim the bottom of the apron.

Step 6

Sew 2 stitches with wide stitches and assemble the top of the apron.

Step 7

Pin the outer and inner parts of the belt to the apron, as shown in the photo. Sew on the belt, stepping back 1 cm.

Step 8

Gather the apron part fabric so that all of it falls between the belt parts (see diagram and photo), fasten the parts with pins or clips and sew the belt parts. Turn out a belt and release an apron detail.

Step 9

Iron the belt.

Step 10

Fold the details of the ties 20x110 cm along the inside in half and sew as shown in the diagram and photo. Turn out and iron.

Step 11

Attach the details of the ties to the belt and sew. Done!
