How to sew a t-shirt without a pattern: master class
Work sequence:
1. Build a pattern. To do this, take a T-shirt that sits well on you, fold it in half lengthwise, put it on a sheet of paper and circle it. For a tunic, lengthen the hem. Make a pattern for the front and back, while shortening the front a little, and lengthen the back by drawing two smooth lines, as shown in the photo.Add seam allowances and cut in front and back.
2. You also need 2 parts for processing sleeves and 1 for processing the neck. Measure the sleeve and neck circumference - this will be the length of the parts. Determine the width according to your desire. The width of the part for processing the neck is multiplied by 2. Add allowances for the seams.
3. Work on parts for sleeve finishing.
4. Then perform shoulder seams.
5. Attach the sleeve trim detail to the bottom of the sleeve face to face, pin and sew.
6. Now do the side seams.
7. Fold along the neck detail inside out. Pin the part to the neck, as shown in the photo, and pin it with pins. Sew the part to the neck. Sew the part back in a blind stitch.
8. It remains only to process the bottom of the tunic.
