It is not at all difficult to make a narrow hem on light tissues using a foot for undercutting operations.
1. Attach the presser foot.
2. Cut a small corner of the fabric
3. Place the part with the wrong side up under the presser foot, make 2-3 stitches, raise the needle and presser foot, and pull the thread
4. Holding the thread, thread the edge of the part by wrapping it along the special part of the foot (into the cochlea)
5. Position the edge behind the needle, lower the foot and slowly sew 3-4 stitches to make sure that the edge is wrapped
6. Continue sewing to the end.
