Cascading shoulder strapsOrganza and taffeta scales formed magnificent epaulettes.
YOU NEED: a blazer, the remnants of a thin fabric - organza, taffeta, batiste, etc. black and various gray tones. Silk paper, threads for sewing.
HOW TO MAKE: On the blazer, wrap in and sew on the collar with the lapels.
A sample for making shoulder straps you will find in the following photo. Copy the part onto silk paper, folding it along the dashed line of the fold. Detail cut and unwrap.
According to this sample, cut from fabrics approx. 40 flakes without allowances. Fold the scales in half, and fold some so that the upper half is slightly shorter. Put the lower flakes on the sleeve about 10 cm below the seam of the sleeve, and sew the fold by hand. Sew the following flakes with an interval of 1 cm in the upward direction until 2 cm remain until the collar is bent, while from time to time, sew 2 or 3 flakes together.
Sew the top 5 scales in the middle, wrapping the folds inwards so that the scales stop shorter. The last flake should be no more than 5 cm long.
